Adopt-A-Family

Northrop Grumman volunteers Ruth and Gary Steeber prepare a delivery for one of the families being helped by Adopt-A-Family on gift distribution night. Adopt-A-Family raised $22,000 to purchase food and gifts for needy families. Volunteers wearing Santa suits and their helpers visited the homes of 47 families in the San Fernando Valley and distributed the presents during December.

MANNING THE RAILS - Officers and crewmembers of USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) take their positions on the Aegis guided missile destroyer near the end of commissioning ceremonies for the 21st Aegis guided missile destroyer by Northrop Grumman. The ceremony, held in Charleston, S.C. in front of 1,500 guests, officially places DDG 95 in the Atlantic fleet as part of Destroyer Squadron 22.
