San Antonio (LPD 17)

San Antonio (LPD 17), the first in a class of new U.S. Navy amphibious transport dock ships being built by Northrop Grumman, underwent final sea trial exercises this week as it prepares to sail away from the companys shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss., on Saturday morning, Dec. 3. San Antonio will be commissioned on Jan. 14 in Ingleside, Texas.

Northrop Grumman Corporation reaffirmed its commitment to the nation's space exploration program by donating $10,000 to the Astronauts Memorial Foundation. Scott J. Gantry Cranes
