REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – Nov. 1, 2013 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) today announced Scaled Composites Test Pilot Mark "Forger" Stucky has earned the Society of Experimental Test Pilots' (SETP) Iven C. Kincheloe Award for outstanding professional accomplishment in the conduct of flight testing.

SETP presented the award to Stucky Sept. 28. The award, established in 1958, honors the memory of test pilot and U.S. Air Force Korean War ace Iven C. Kincheloe, who died during flight testing. Stucky serves as an engineering test pilot for SpaceShip Two and its carrier aircraft WhiteKnight Two.

"Beyond his primary position as a test pilot, Forger has been an instrumental and critical part of our programs, working as a design engineer, instructor pilot, project pilot, technical adviser and even a mentor to others," said Kevin Mickey, president, Scaled Composites.
