MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 10, 2010 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) today announced a $35,000 sponsorship of the annual gala benefit of The Women's Center of Vienna, Va. The gala is the center's premier event for increasing awareness and financial support for its programs and services.

Founded in 1974, The Women's Center is a nonprofit organization offering counseling and resources to improve significantly the psychological, career, financial and legal well-being of women and families.  Services are provided on a sliding scale based on the financial needs of the center's clients. The center's clinical staff includes more than 65 therapists and career counselors who provide more than 37,000 hours of counseling each year.
