LOS ANGELES, March 22, 2010 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) named Constance A. Soloway as vice president of human resources for its Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) organization.

Soloway will be responsible for ESS human resources strategy for talent acquisition, talent management and succession planning, ethics, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity, and workforce engagement.

"As a highly talented and versatile executive, Constance brings a wide range of experience to her new role in defining, developing and implementing the strategic direction of ESS human resources," said Gloria Flach, Northrop Grumman corporate vice president and president of Enterprise Shared Services.

Soloway most recently served as a human resources director within the company's Electronic Systems sector. During her 25-year career at Northrop Grumman, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in learning and development, leadership development, engineering, process improvement and business management.

She earned a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Duke University and a master's degree in international economics and international relations from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
