FALLS CHURCH, Va., Oct. 5, 2011 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) today held a one-day symposium focused on quality at its Falls Church corporate office, inviting key customers and employees to engage and discuss this important topic. More than 125 key suppliers, customers and employees attended the event.

Following the symposium's theme of "Doing more without more while ensuring mission success," company officials and customer representatives shared a panel discussion and toured company exhibits profiling ethics, employee engagement, best practices, supplier partnerships, affordability and customer satisfaction. The event offered the opportunity to reinforce the importance of quality to customers, suppliers and employees, demonstrating that Northrop Grumman's emphasis on quality is yielding results. Wes Bush, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Northrop Grumman, kicked off the symposium, followed by David Ahern, deputy assistant secretary of defense for Strategic and Tactical Systems, who gave the keynote address.
