Northrop Grumman maintenance carpenter David Moody, assisted by Becky Johnson, right, lays the first rebar to be used in framing a new Habitat for Humanity house built for Johnson and her family, including her son, Northrop Grumman cable puller Kenny Reddix, standing in the background. A team of Northrop Grumman employees, who recently constructed the local United Way office in Jackson County, will build a total of 15 Habitat for Humanity houses on the Gulf Coast. When Johnson heard the news she was thrilled and excited. "I'm happy that a company like Northrop Grumman would allow their paid employees to spend their working hours building this house," said Johnson. "I have a family of five and we are going to enjoy this new place to live." Johnson's house is expected to be finished in two months.
