EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has appointed Thomas E. Vice as vice president of business development for its Integrated Systems sector, effective immediately.
In his new position, Vice will be responsible for advancing the sector's growth through the capture of key competitive pursuits. He will be responsible for providing customers with best-value solutions drawing upon the strengths of the corporation and industry partners.

Seymour, president of Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems. "Tom Vice will ensure that these pursuits are aligned with our strategic objectives and fully leverage our advanced systems concepts and technology investments."
Most recently, Vice was sector vice president of operations for Integrated Systems, where he was responsible for manufacturing operations, supply chain management, facilities, Lean and Six Sigma, quality assurance, information technology as well as planning and control activities. Prior to this assignment, Tom was sector vice president, materiel, and vice president, Business and Advanced Systems Development for Air Combat Systems.
Vice joined Northrop Grumman in 1986 as an engineer on the B-2 stealth bomber program. He earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California and has completed several advanced management programs, including the advanced program management course from the Defense Systems Management College and the Corporate Strategy Management Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
