HERNDON, Va., Aug. 13, 2010 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Christopher T. Jones sector vice president and general manager of its Technical Services sector's Integrated Logistics and Modernization Division (ILMD).

In this position, Jones will have overall responsibility for the division, which is organized around four business units focused on contractor logistics support, systems maintenance and modernization, global materials and surveillance operations, and international programs.

"Chris brings to the sector a wealth of experience both domestically and internationally while supporting a broad customer base," said Thomas E. Vice, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Technical Services. "His strong leadership and business skills will enable ILMD to expand its portfolio of programs in the Department of Defense and adjacent markets."

Jones most recently served as the director, product support and international programs, airborne early warning and battle management command and control for Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Systems sector. In this role, he was responsible for all domestic E-2 Hawkeye support and international E-2 programs.

Jones earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a master's degree in aerospace engineering and engineering management from the University of Dayton, Ohio, and a doctorate in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland.
