Company Files Registration Statements Related To
                  Recent $135 Million Financing Transaction

DULLES, Va., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE: ORB) announced that on November 20, 2002 it filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) an amendment to its 2001 annual report on Form 10-K/A, which includes a reissued independent accountants' report removing the "going concern" qualification issued in the company's previously filed annual report. Orbital also filed registration statements related to the company's notes and warrants issued in its August 2002 $135 million financing transaction.
