LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15, 2010 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced that it will provide up to $1 million to aid earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

The company will contribute $500,000 through five agencies supporting the Haiti recovery effort: AmeriCares, American Red Cross International, World Vision International, Care and the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund.

The company has committed another $500,000 to an employee matching gift program for earthquake relief.

"We join the world community in concern for all those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, and extend our heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families, and to our fellow citizens and employees who have ties to the country," said Wes Bush, Northrop Grumman chief executive officer and president.
