IRVING, Texas, May 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gloria Pualani, director of socio-economic business programs for Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) and its Integrated Systems sector, was honored May 23 as one of the Fifty Influential Minorities In Business.
The Minority Business and Professionals Network grant this prestigious award annually. "There are many advantages to doing business with small-, women- and minority-owned businesses, and this award recognizes the company's progress in this important area. Much of our company's strength comes from small businesses, whose innovation and efficiency improves our performance and competitive edge in the marketplace."
The awards were presented May 23, 2002, at the Fourth Annual Fifty Influential Minorities In Business Awards Gala in Washington, D.C. The theme this year was "Celebrating Excellence and Courage."
