ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 1, 2008 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) will highlight a full range of training and simulation products and services for military and homeland security operations at the 2008 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference.
The conference will take place Dec. 1-4 at the Orange County Convention Center. Northrop Grumman will be located at booth 1724.
Northrop Grumman will display a full range of training capabilities including game-based and simulation training solutions. These solutions fill critical gaps in education and increase the impact and effectiveness of training to the warfighter. The capabilities range from analysis to evaluation and every educational point in between and can be customized to meet instructional goals.
Along with various training solutions, Northrop Grumman will also feature the Aerial Common Sensor (ACS) program. ACS is an airborne platform that will provide the warfighter with actionable intelligence, reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition capability. When operational, ACS will allow commanders to see first, understand first, act first, and finish decisively.
Northrop Grumman Foundation's Weightless Flights of Discovery program will be highlighted in the new I/ITSEC science, technology, engineering, and math pavilion. The Weightless Flights of Discovery program uses hands-on science workshops and parabolic or "zero-gravity" aircraft flights to help educators teach students how math, science and engineering principles apply to weightless space environments.
