Northrop Grumman and Teammate EADS Currently Generate Economic Activity Exceeding $25 Million Annually in Arkansas

A KC-30 Tanker Win Would Create or Support Hundreds of Direct and Indirect Jobs Throughout the State

MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) and its KC-30 Tanker supply base will generate significant economic activity and support 150 direct aerospace jobs in Arkansas. With a KC-30 win, Northrop Grumman and its KC-30 industry team will support hundreds of indirect jobs throughout the state and generate a combined economic impact of $31 million annually.

Northrop Grumman and teammate EADS generate economic activity exceeding $25 million annually in Arkansas. The KC-30 supplier, Triumph Fabrications in Hot Springs, employs 75 workers and generates economic activity exceeding $6 million annually. The firm will provide hardware and parts to Northrop Grumman for military conversion of the commercial aircraft.

The KC-30 Tanker aircraft will be assembled in Mobile, Ala., and the KC-30 team will employ 25,000 American workers at 230 U.S. companies. It will be built by a world-class industrial team led by Northrop Grumman, and includes EADS North America, General Electric Aviation and Sargent Fletcher.
