MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 3, 2011 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded the Best Fit Integrator Exceptional Service Award in Health and Human Services by the Center for Digital Government for developing the Arkansas Special Nutrition Programs website.
The Best Fit Integrator Awards recognize private sector companies who provide tailored technology solutions to suit the unique needs of government. This year marks the fourth time Northrop Grumman has received the award since its inception in 2007.
The Arkansas Special Nutrition Programs website is used by the State of Arkansas to administer federally funded food assistance programs offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The website allows participants to submit applications, claims for reimbursement and attendance records online. It also offers a comprehensive resource library.
