LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21, 2010 -- For the third consecutive year, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been honored as a Top Military Friendly Employer, ranking 9 th overall, according to G.I. Jobs magazine.

Northrop Grumman is among 100 companies to receive the top score from G.I. Jobs, the premier publication for military transitioners.

According to GI Jobs, the 2011 rankings are based on a survey which assesses a company's long-term commitment to hiring former military, recruiting and hiring efforts and results, policies for Reserve/Guard members called to active duty, and the presence of special recruitment military programs. The pool of companies eligible for the list is approximately 5,000 (minimum of $500 million in annual revenues). Only two percent made the list.
