MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 12, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a contract by First Horizon National Corporation to install thin client technology that will enhance delivery of services to its customers.

First Horizon provides financial services to individuals and business customers through hundreds of offices located in more than 40 states.

Northrop Grumman's Information Technology (IT) sector will perform a nationwide rollout of thin client technology to all First Horizon financial services, mortgage branch and corporate center locations. Work will include personal computer re-imaging, re-configuration, maintenance and training of end users on the new technology.

Work on the contract will be conducted over three years at approximately 280 First Horizon locations nationwide.

Northrop Grumman's teammate on the contract is Macer Technology, Plano, Texas.
