HERNDON, Va., Oct. 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has selected a team that includes Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) to provide large operations management services at the USCIS California and Vermont service centers.

The three-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a total ceiling value of $225 million to the team, on which Northrop Grumman will be a subcontractor to Stanley, Inc. (NYSE:SXE), of Arlington, Va.

The contract expands Northrop Grumman's support role in DHS's homeland security mission. The company operates 136 Citizenship and Immigration Service Application Support Centers in all 50 states, providing biometric capture services as part of U.S. citizenship applications and Green Card renewals.
