CAREERS & the disABLED magazine recognized Northrop Grumman for a number of programs and activities that support the disabled, such as Operation IMPACT, which provides career transition support and employment to service members severely injured in combat. A dedicated team of Northrop Grumman employees advocate for and assist wounded warriors by providing resume and interview coaching, identifying job opportunities and providing other services as they transition to the private sector. The program has helped more than 100 returning service personnel and their family members join the company.
In 2007, Northrop Grumman employees formed the Victory Over Impairment and Challenge Enterprise employee resource group, which has been a catalyst in the company for cultural change through education and awareness, community outreach and advocacy.
