HERNDON, Va., July 11, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) continues to grow its international business in providing infrastructure management, training, life cycle support and sustainment services to customers and militaries around the world. These capabilities will be showcased at this year's Farnborough Airshow, July 14-20.

In the United Kingdom, Northrop Grumman provides whole life support for the Royal Air Force's fleet of Sentry E-3D airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft based at RAF Waddington. In the Middle East, it provides a range of support services including logistics support for the Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a field team based in theatre; and in Germany, an in-country team supports the Euro Hawk UAV. Northrop Grumman also provides maintenance and training development for Fire Scout and academic and simulator training for Global Hawk pilots. The company provides maintenance and logistics support for the U.S. military's E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System and the U.S. Navy's E-2C Hawkeye. Systems support teams are deployed alongside customers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt.

At 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, representatives from the UK's Sentry Whole Life Support Programme will brief on E-3D AWACS. Life cycle logistics and sustainment capabilities and programs will be briefed at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15.
