RESTON, Va., Nov. 3, 2008 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) recently honored 23 of its top performing suppliers, companies whose technical innovations, quality products and services and outstanding performance significantly benefitted Northrop Grumman and its government and commercial customers.
Northrop Grumman presented two kinds of awards in recognition of supplier excellence in 2008 -- 14 Supplier Excellence Awards and nine Socio-Economic Supplier Excellence Awards -- at the Tysons Corner Ritz-Carlton, McLean, Va., on Oct. 30. Socio-Economic Awards are presented exclusively to small business suppliers who qualify under recognized socio-economic categories. All 23 suppliers met the highest criteria for delivery, quality, cost and schedule management and customer satisfaction.
