HERNDON, Va., Nov. 19, 2012 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded the Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems and Services contract from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). The award enables Northrop Grumman to compete for task orders under the five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract, which has a total value of $10 billion. Northrop Grumman is one of 20 companies that were selected for this contract.
Contractors on the program will bid on task orders to provide tactical command, control and communications (C3) systems hardware, software, engineering and logistics that support the networked battle command needs of the warfighter.
