DULLES, Va.Jun. 23, 2009-- Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE:ORB), in conjunction with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, will hold a Ground Breaking Ceremony on June 29, 2009 at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility. The event will commemorate the official beginning of construction on launch facilities for the company’s Taurus II space launch vehicle and its related work for NASA’s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) program.

Submission of Credentials:

Due to the facility security requirements, any members of the media wishing to attend the event must submit their credentials to NASA Wallops Flight Facility Public Affairs Office no later than close of business on Thursday, June 25, 2009. All attendees must be U.S. citizens and bring a photo ID with them the day of the event.
